I just checked the pads in the Gumby before putting the front wheel back on and the pads are rooted ie not worn but they are crumbling apart and they're Goldfrens Now I gotta try and get a set before next week.

That doesn't sound good at all Glen. Good thing though that you thought to check them out before heading down there, that's not the kind of thing you want to discover going in to turn 1.
