Re: my new bike
thanks for the compliments on the bike.I am very fussy when it comes to keeping my vehicles clean.
Seiko1 the mods are not that very expensive as ebay is a wonderful thing and i get most of my parts thru a guy in western australia who has contacts in the US so postage for me is roughly no more then $10 australian.Americans charge to much for postage for little things.I was silly when i had my 07 black ZX14 because when i sold that i gave away all the spares with the bike that would have fitted the new one.Wont do that again.
I was as suprised to have both comfort and sportiness in the same bike but the GTR fits that bill but for me it was a waste not to have a passenger all the time.

Re: my new bike
I know three new bikes in 18 months is just too much and i think this one is way more look at me then my other black ones.if i do get the m4's in satin black then they will hear me before they see me.
Yes i do have matching coloured riding gear.My ICON helmet is matt black with a dark red and a skull on the sides and as you can see in the photo i like collecting helmets. The photo doesnt show another two i have added since.
I have added a picyure of my last two bikes so you can see which has bling.

Re: my new bike
they are actually fully chromed ones and then had painted to match the black with just the chrome fins showing.I brought the side fins, upper fairing inners and the front fender fins that i got from the states on ebay for around $600 US.in the photo below you can see that there was too much chrome before i had them painted. There is a shop called XXX chroming that made the chrome panels and you can still get them. Go to US ebay and type in zx14 and there are like 1500 products available.Thats where i shop.

Re: my new bike
i know in the states that they did a black with copper coloured chrome and that looked good.I like the idea of black and gold and i have seen one on an american forum where he just had gold levers, heel plates and the gold wheels. If you type in zx forums in google there is one in america that i use for ideas and such.Worth checking out

Re: my new bike
it is a little over the top and maybe if they had just the little things copper coated like the levers/mirror covers/foot plates and wheels i think that would look good. For your bike if you look up ebay australia and type in zx14 you will find ratedRparts.Steveis from west australia and will get you what ever you need.Good postage prices too.

Re: my new bike
i do exactly the same everyday surf ebay. Now if you want the ultimate bling for the black beauty it is chrome raised lettering with crystals in the corners. They make them for zx1400.I had them on my zx9 a couple of years ago.In the photo below you can see the billet covers for brake and clutch and also the new fuel cap that is billet base with crystal clear top so you can see your petrol.
I have also displayed a pic of my prized plates on the bike and if you think the bike is kept clean then the car is cleaner.
