From what i recall of the review they are a bit exxy at around 18 for the base model. The one they had on review had all the bling bits (actually i may be wrong on the exhaust as an aftermarket, i don't think there is one). I have had a blast on the 08 z1000 and it is a fun bike but it makes me want to get the foot down and ride it like a big motocross bike. The 06 zrx1200 I rode felt bland to me but I only had them both for a day so take that with a pinch of salt as I did not like the 09 zx10 on the road (it would be sweet on the track or on good road surfaces). The 1250 bandit was so crap that I took it back (as a loan bike) and took the z1000 again!

Stock Z1000's don't handle, if you think they do! then ride something that does "Speed Triple"
