Re: ZXR250 Fuel Consumption
ran it dry saturday filled up and today had to fill up again................shocked 246.7km and prob could have squeezed another 5-8 km out.........................suprised to say the least as it had been juice heavy for ages
must've been the SnW ball bearing carby balance, clean and adjustment..................

and it still starts easier than it did...

Re: ZXR250 Fuel Consumption
I picked up a 92' ZX-2R on Sunday, filled it up and didn't hit reserve until i had approx 230-240km on the clock, so i'm pretty plpease will the fuel efficency, but i'm also runnning a 40 tooth sprocket on the rear so my higher speed runs at lower revs, but i lose a bit of acceleration.

Re: ZXR250 Fuel Consumption
wow 230-240 thats heaps good...my bike starts to jerk around 150-170k's and i hit the reserve, then ill get around 200 riding very conservatively as well. Think i need a service soon. BTW Welcome to the club Skin

When i grow up i want a ZX6R just like Rob Racer...

Re: ZXR250 Fuel Consumption
will have to revise mine fell off the makeshift stand while doing chain adjustment ....tank now not symetrical
so left hand carbies won't get as much fuel
