thanks Nosferatu ... well put bloke..
just another friggin knee jerk reaction to something they dont understand and have absolutely no knowledge of a social club... what the law also means is that the police can interpret(?) them any way they like... they decide on whether you are conducting an illegal activity (parking in a no parking zone, 5km over the speed limit) and then can term the whole group as involved in a group who has associations with illegal activity... big it up for the cock jockeys... i know i didnt vote for the wankers!!!!!!!!!

Where is that beating a dead horse symbol.

Seriously let it go, when they knock on your door for riding a bike then post up.

"when they kick out your front door....
how you gonna come....
with your hands on your head ...
or on the trigger of your gun.. "

tad over the top and slightly out of context...but not a bad churus
+1 daisy

even if the post was "somewhat edited" the wider application of any such changes is always there for the over zealous to use in areas not necessarily the original target of the legislation...thats scarry ...

The moral of the story is, the media tells us what the media wants us to know, and if the media wants to sensationalize a story, then that's exactly what we get. Current example in point, the war in iraq. Can you say Vietnam!

Just let me know when you two run for parliament, or take up the responsibility to do what you so loudly say wont you. If you are truly so vocal about it get off your arse and do something or if like the majority of the population you will do nothing except bitch and moan.

See! You are capable of voicing an opinion if someone pulls your chain.
That's what a FORUM is all about!
I would run for Parliament but I'm not corrupt enough to be rich enough to do that.
For your information pfffft boy I have ACTIVELY and VERY LOUDLY campained against the Immigration Department, even got on TV in QLD back in 98 on two TV Stations and sent Hundreds of faxes of complaint and ended up with the personal phone number of the Australian Ambassador to Japan. (AND WON MY CASE)
Bitch and Moan? That is at least getting the word out! You Bitch and moan about people who at least care enough to have an opinion!!!!
You'll get a Gold Star from the Brainwashing Corporations Population Pacification Department!!!!

I'm with you Nick. It's easy for people to complain but offer no real alternative. As I've mentioned before, if someone really does have a real alternative (other than "leave it the way it is"), then I'm sure there are plenty of people who'll listen.
