Well... maybe not boring but not as exciting as riding a bike?
Can we agree to that?Smitty are you faster at PI on a car or bike? Just curious that's all.
the quickest I have been on either is around 2:04 or 2:05
I got timed in the wet (the above mentioned thunderstorm) last year ...in the car at 2:12
which I thought was pretty respectable . have not done PI on a bike in the rain
...never want to either

having done both i have to say -
the bike is a totally different experience on a track to a car. I find both exciting

GOTTA LUV the 12R!!

Motor did it with a 996 Turbo S and a K5 1000. Bike won by 1.5sec IIRC. And to further show the difference between the two, the rider (Sam McLachlan) said he shit himself into the first corner when he was in passenger seat of the car and they blasted well past his braking marker.Mick C wrote:The did a test a while back in AMCN I think, a CBR600 vs some kind of hi specced Porche GT something-or-other at Wakefield Park...the bike won easy and cost less than the optional ceramic disks on the Porche![]()
Extra rubber helps, but bikes can use more of the bitumen and get on the power earlier

Hey I noticed that some of the V8s are going green!! the Fujitsu car especially. 4 green cars and a 5th one which seems to be a little confused about it orientation. I likey.
See here, young man,

Well I can say from firsthand experience that Fujitsu have gone absolutely mental on the whole "green" bandwagon, inside the company and out.
