I suspect so.
The missus isn't exactly happy that I'm heading over to work in a bushfire zone and will be gone for a week as it is. On top of that, she's 5 months pregnant and the 2 1/4 year old is out of control at the moment..... Telling her I want to leave a couple of days early will probably cost me more brownie points than I currently have spare.
I imagine that we will be flying across on a chartered flight, given that we have, ermmm, special equipment to carry. I doubt I could get the boss to reschedule the flight just for my own selfish needs.

Ahh I get the picture. I remember getting home from the 1987 Grand prix after leaving the wife at home with a screaming 4 month old for 5 days. Didn't make the trip again for 20 years

See Glenno that was too late, my daughter was 3 weeks old when I went to the 00 MotoGP, still I had to miss 02 as that was the week she was due with no2 - the only one apart from the first 2 @ the island in 89-90.
And I'm with Mick, it just wont be the same without founding members Glen, The Hoff and Shaun in attendance. Nor the regulars Rod & Rob - have fun being "the Bridesmaid" Rob

I heard the crowd and atmosphere is really good at the superbikes, nod to all kwaka fans! Shame i wont be riding down, wouldve loved to have experienced that.
Anyway, i got the 3 day BAR pass, ill have my nikon D700 w/ 24-70mm and 300mm lens. Ill be sure to post pics up once im back from the weekend.
