
On the way to work did I just "get" counter-steering?

You gotta love it when someone gets it!! Great advice from all to you as well tim so ............. take heed. There is plenty of time in the near future to book yourself a cornering and braking course and learn the other half of cornering that compliments the good old counter steer ....

On a 2 lane quiet road I quite like to slalom between the markers, and I tried it with countersteering, SO MUCH MORE NIMBLE! 
Fun.
I still have no idea where the balance is between "pushing" and "leaning" is.
And what a challenge a few corners in a row are........ a big 2 lane roundabout seems to be a great example where speed and line and throttle are so important. If I catch myself getting close to that line and swear at myself for being in the "head on zone" for when I finally make my maiden Old Road trip.
Next time I ride in heat like this I'm gonna put a wet cloth around my neck.... works at cricket.
