Fair enough removing the badges ("We don't need no steenkin' badgers!"), but please don't be one of these low-IQ cock-sucks who is so embarrassed to be driving a Holden that they fit a big Chevy badge!Smitty wrote:next lot a few days later..after I cleaned it up

Re: Santa arrived today and left something....
How does it handle compared to the sedan? I've heard people say that the ute actually handles slightly better because of the weight distribution or something. Wondering if it were the same for the wagon?

I can definately attest to the Ute handling no where near as good as a sedan! The rearend is so light that its just... Oh wait Aardy is readinglifeofcrimeguy wrote:I've heard people say that the ute actually handles slightly better because of the weight distribution or something

slightly better imholifeofcrimeguy wrote:How does it handle compared to the sedan? I've heard people say that the ute actually handles slightly better because of the weight distribution or something. Wondering if it were the same for the wagon?
and I say that having driven VE Omegas and also VE HSV R8s and GTS sedans
the wagon is slightly heavier than the sedan (about 40kgs) and that makes the weight
distribution closer to 50/50 as the extra weight is at the back (tailgate and stuff are the cause)
so the wagon (being built on the same wheelbase as the sedan unlike previous wagons which were longer)
is a better handler (at least mine seems to be)
hth
cheers
