Re: ninja 250 tyres
If you can get some GPR Alpha-10s to fit I'd highly recommend them as a track/road hooligan tyre.
They'd be my pick as a road tyre on a smaller bike, I liked them better than BT45s.
Really? Perhaps you got a bad batch or something. I wore my right-hand footpeg down to a stub with Sport Demons and never lost grip, even when the rear was bouncing around off the groundRusty wrote:For the record, DON'T get Pirelli Sport Demons. They're gripless.

Re: ninja 250 tyres
I have a set of Continentals on the ZZR250 and they're *awesome*.
Don't quote me on this (I'll check in the morning, if I think of it) but I think the rear is a 150. Took a few rides to get used to but it really is an awesome change and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Re: ninja 250 tyres
i will be doing track days billy, but i also commute, rain hail or shine... and looking at the alphas i'd say they arent the best wet weather tyre....the kid wrote:Have used a BT39ss and its OK but prefer the Dunlops . If you are doing some track days who cares about tire life ? One small slide will cost a heap more than a new set of tires.

the search continues....
i'll try visit a dealer soon and guage some opinions and see whats actually available in Aus...
thanks for the input so far guys

Re: ninja 250 tyres
For anyone interested, the tyres are Continental Conti Force in a 110/70/17 front and 150/70/17 rear.Shifty wrote:I have a set of Continentals on the ZZR250 and they're *awesome*.
