Surely a well maintained GPX with nary a mark on it over there would be fetching somewhere around 1700 to 2400 GBP ( What is the Scotish currency? ) going on my readings of recent Classic Motorcycle and Classic motorcycle mechanics.
If you have to clear it out to make way for funds then do so or find a relative/ mate that will store it for you. Going beyond 20 years and the new coming of Japanese classics then it may prove worthwhile.
