Here's my 2 cents worth!

I'm a bloody 4wheel driver owner! - 2004 SR5 Toyota and just up graded to a new Z1000 (just in case you hadn’t heard yet…lol)

Anything on the road can wipe you out... whether its a 250 Honda sailing through the air, oil on the road, stray wildlife and cages of all shapes and sizes. - Yes 4x4’s are large…but so are buses and trucks!

We know the world is far from a perfect place, but what is the cost of being right?
If your approaching a cross road and you see a vehicle coming on your right toward the same intersection and you have the right of way.. Do you slow down? Probably not, but what if that vehicle doesn’t stop and you get wiped out.. you could argue it’s not your fault and technically your right, but what’s the good of being right when (heaven forbid) your not here?

Its not a point of whos right and wrong, but if you wake up the next morning.
At some point all road users have to take responsibility for their own wellbeing and more so bike riders because we know we will be the ones worse off.

Yes I ride and yes i’ve suffered my share of stacks and close misses.
I feel your pain of ignorant road users, but they come in all forms..
Keep your wits about you, expect the unexpected, even on the boring 60km straight bits.

Accidents will happen, but the choices you make can be the difference between if you walk away or not.

To clarify: I fucking hate A to B drivers. It is a skilled task that requires more attention and care than most people give. By care I mean "giveafuckometer"about the whole driving process, not just accelerating slowly and sitting 10 ks under.

Driving is just that.. Not time out to have breakfast,chat on phone , send emails on ya friggen PDA etc!!!!

I reckon new drivers should be required to do two things prior to getting their Probationary licences then again before they recieve their full.

ie 1. Sit in a say 5 ton or bigger truck for a week in the city or country don't matter.
2. Be pillion on say a couriers bike for a week.

After having the living shit scared out of them by other idiot drivers for a fortnight they might be a little more alert of WTF is going on OUTSIDE the safe confines of a car's interior!!
