wont be legal as far as ADR's apply as thats the reason the OEM fenders are there ... to comply with minium standards.

& Mig I have had both a single disk & Dual disk 250's on the track before & there is a huge diference in "Braking time" without lock up but admitedly on the road its a diferent kettle, but the fact that you can pull up quicker would give this little black duck more confidence while dodging cages

Side note the weight of disk & caliper = <4kg 2 weeks of heavy exercise would knock that off, time to start training again

4KGs of unsprung weight = many more (maybe 16KGs) of sprung weight, maybe even more. I think on the track twin disks are worthwhile, but on a road bike a single is probably OK - just remember a 2.5 tonne Vulcan 1500A uses the same single front calliper as a ZZR-250

Have ordered the CW rear eliminator. Not ADR compliant but would rather ride with it than having looking liKe I have a huge schlong as a rear fender!

Brake discs calipers... its built to a price I guess! Cant complain when were only paying a slight premium over a CB250RR for 2 years warranty and a new bike with all bits shiny and working!!! I look at it as my learner / commuter bike for a cpl of years until bigger and better things down the track...

just cause your gxp dun av em lolz on my zxr i notice the difference in braking between that and my mates cbr250r with single disk the twin disks help stopping distance and ruduce amount of pressure u need to brake i reckon

Neither does my TZR, although to be fair later TZR models do. If you ever had to pay for caliper piston seals you'd be annoyed at having two calipers. I'd much prefer that they put in cartridge forks (with or without adjustments) rather than dual discs.

i did get seals for my zxr250 and installed them myself also got pads which cost me $60 for both sides and the seal kit was $89 thank you ebay all genuine seals to and i see that as a small price to pay for great brakes

I saw a brand new red Ninja 250R yesterday on the road

Brand spanking new!
The rider (dressed in brand new gear too) looked a little unsure of themself and was keeping the revs down low.

Hopefully we see more of these, they're a great looking bike.

Such a pity kawa didn't add more power. I wonder how good the single disc setup is too. My zzr one was a bit spongy until i changed to a braided line.
