I live 20 mins from Mt Glorious/Nebo and 10mins from Mt Mee. All of the beautiful Sunshine Coast roads like Obi Obi and Peachester are only a stones throw away- wouldn't move for the world!acuman wrote: I think not!! North side of the southside? Like Kangaroo Pt?

Re: Hello all from downtown bris
Isn't there too many coppers up thru Nebo / Glorious run now? I actually lived at the bottom of Peachester Range (Beerwah) for 12 years. Yes it is motorcycling heaven up there for sure
I do miss the area. You forgot Stanley River Rd.
I just spent all my childhood days on the southside and am back here now. It has its good and bad, like everywhere I guess.
You should venture this way and do the Beechmont, Advancetown, Springbrook trip. Or the Rathdowney to Kyogle run
Plenty of good riding on the almighty southside!!!

Yes, that is the one negative- but if you do the right thing you don't have to worry!acuman wrote:Isn't there too many coppers up thru Nebo / Glorious run now?
(You know I really was breaking the law by having a cylindrical rego holder that prevented the kind officer from reading my rego from 6 metres away, and I deserved to be severely punished for flaunting the road rules that way.
I have ridden all of those roads except Advancetown- you do have some lovely roads in your backyard there!acuman wrote:You should venture this way and do the Beechmont, Advancetown, Springbrook trip. Or the Rathdowney to Kyogle run

Let's face it- it's a win-win situation in QLD no matter where you are! (Maybe we should be picking on the southerners instead of quarreling amongst our own ranks- they are about to begin the colder weather aren't they? You know- the weather where they put their bikes away for the next 7 months.........

Re: Hello all from downtown bris
Yes we are fortunate that we can get value out of 12 months rego, unlike our friends down south.
I am not sure how they do it sometimes. I occasionally complain about our pseudo-winters up here
.
Yes i can definitely see how you would be a danger to yourself and the greater public by sporting a cylindrical rego sticker holder.
It is a good thing that police officer got hold of you before something catastrophic happened.
You are a very naughty girl indeed, when and where does the public lashing take place

No public lashing required- i have seen the error of my ways and conformed to societies rules by replacing it with a standard rego holder- you can all rest assured that you are safe on the roads now that the nice Mr Plod set me straight!acuman wrote:You are a very naughty girl indeed, when and where does the public lashing take place
