As if it's not enough that you pay TAC insurance for every vehicle you register plus $50 for every bike (in Vic) just to "offset carbon emissions" and "ease congestion" but now they want to charge you for defacing the front of your motorcycle and tolls on a tollway that crawls along at less than an average of 35kmh during peak hour?

There are a number of points here that I strongly object to
1. Paying Tac premiums on your registration when you can only ride/ drive one vehicle at any given time. it should be levied on on each and every drivers license, not the vehicle.
2. The $50 safety levy on vic rego - Bracks has gone can this be disolved now?
3. Citylink is a shambles here in Melbourne. I am only glad that my employer pays the e-tag fees because I cannot count the amount of times I have crawled along the Bolte bridge or through the Domain tunnel at less than walking pace.
I got a sweater for my birthday. I realy wanted a moaner or a screamer.

get a rego tube - problem fixed. Mount it down the side of the bike. Its still visible - just not to a camera !!

Mines actually inside the fairing so no probs for me, on the ZZR it was on the chainguard, anywhere but the front/rear of the bike :)

Yeah, mine is down below near the chain guard! So no hope of being seen by Mr Brumby's camera's!

I think I may have contributed to them wanting to put front plates on though... in my younger days I used to enjoy testing Bracksy's speed cameras (front capturing ones!)at around $2.00 giving the bird  I think the camera at the Boundary Rd exit on the Ringer surely had more than a dozen pics of me

Here's a bit of food for thought.

In Tassie, driving/riding on a public road is a $110 fine / 0 Points and nothing further. It makes you think its cheaper if your a speed demon to have no plate
