she will be fine on the tiller..

even take her along and ask her to jump on the back while you take it for a test ride or even just sit on it.
i can usually tell if im gonna be comfy or not just by sitting on the pillion seat.

i have pillioned on a blade aswell and i hated it aswell it just wasnt comfy and you didnt feel stable on the seat.
the tiller seat is huge and you dont ever feel like your going to fall off as your not hanging off the side to begin with.

there is no grab rails. but you can get the bussa ones and drill them onto the farings quite easily..

if you get one with a rack they work better than grab rails. and by using the tank your wrists dont go numb well mine have never and i only use the tank as alex's bike has no grab rails or ventura rack so its him or the tank.

I was looking at a really nice TLR before the Zed came up for sale and it was a hard decision between the two, at least for me. I love the Zed but do love the TLR's as well, especially the sound. They are a heavy bike though!!

From what I remember Duane's TL used to chew threw rear tyres, until he swapped it for a ZX7R

i agrre with aardy and gixDave...

my mrs wont come in the hills with me at all... cos she gets too sore too quickly... and it scares her... the cbr wasnt comfy, the zed isnt comfy... but she will sit on it all day if we are highway cruising or the like..its the weight and corners that she dont like...

had an ex who loved the 99zx6r ... then hated the vtr and the cbr.... the only bike she wouldnt whinge about was the zx6r (same shape as aardy's) ..they are a comfy bike...

if ur going for a sports bike, ur compromising comfort for speed/handling... if u want comfort get a vfr or a zx14r... or a zx9r or 12 !!

best bid the fella got on ebay was $8100 so he traded it for an 08 gixxer1000 said he got 10 000 for the trade in.
ring the shop he said he traded it into they now want 12 thou for it. and they can give me 8k tops for the blade.
i also got an offer for a swap for a 98 model tlr with 61000kms on it. the guy wants the blade plus $1300 for it.
why are tlrs so expensive? why would someone offer a bike thats twice as old has twice the kms and wants cash?
does everyone try and rob everyone else in motorbike sales?
ive cracked it and ive bid on a full micron system of ebay for the blade. if i win then ill get a power commander too.
the pillion might have to stay at home

Twins always seem to hold their value better than 4's for some reason, and TLRs a bit more than most. Not many cheap ones around, if any

usually yeah... but then again, there's a fair few who do bling up their TLR's usually cant talk the talk... or walk the walk.

like... ohlins rear shock and chicken strips wider than 4 fingers on each side.. yeah right.
