I don't think the bike's that bad considering. If you decide to strip bits off it before the insurance company sees it I could be tempted with a few bits 8)

If you can write her off go for it - (be sure to look for stress fractures)...if not strip her... i trust bent/damaged frames as much as i trust bad tires and damaged helments....even if they don't look that bad..

The vultures are circling..

I'll let you know shortly mate - we have to strip Swabio's ZX6 from its prang earlier this year, and essentially swap frames, or build up a complete bike using another frame, whatever way you want to look at it....

I reckon 6 hours tops. Thats with 2 or 3 of us going apeshit. It took less than 1 hour the other night to sort out AN's bike !! ;)

to be honest mate, and im sure u will kno this..its not that hard if u get in and have a go...

when we did the cbr i think we had it apart in abt 3 -4hrs (2 of us- half pissed) ...then when we got all the parts back..i went to work one day...came home and it was back together..Jamie had done it himself in abt 6-7hrs....

if u have all the gear there, and can take it off one, and onto another, u should be able to sort it out pretty quickly...esp with a bunch of you!!

but my point was, even if its 8hrs labour to change a frame..at abt $90 an hr the dealer charges?? thats $900 labour on top of maybe $3k for a frame?? so there $4k on top of all other damage...write off id guess....

anyway...have fun lads...

I managed to strip and rebuild an entire ZX6 F1 in 3/4 of a day in the pits at Broadford a few years back. And I hadn't really worked on one for ten years! If you need any help with it, let me know, I have done mine four times since I got it back and can now do it in my sleep again. I also have a manual should you need any settings! :)
