looks like thay have come down in price since i got my last set over 2 years ago then, cheapest anywhere was $10, most wanted $12+ for the CR9EK (thats what i used, not CR9E) back then.

perhaps with the new plugs available the others had to re-asses their pricing structure to make them more attractive - or dave got them off the back of the truck :lol:

I bought the cr9ek's from Mick at Castle hill motorcycles. I think the std price is about $8... my discounted "racers" price was about $7... :-)

i know some guys that used to use the bosch super 4's as these increase the compression a little bit more.

not quite champ, at least $10 for the plugs, your fairy blade may have used cheapo plugs but the 9's were cr9e, the r stands for resistor and that are a fair bit more.....so at $10 they work out cheaper...... :wink:

also, found it started first time everytime, even after nearly 40K, then again some people here would not do that amount of k's in a lifetime :P
nah dude..the blade used iridiums..thats why i kno they ask like $26 a plug... every 24,000km... so an extra $100 a service ..give or take...

when i was looking on ebay or sumthing like that, u CAN find em for abt $10-15 each..if u can be farked rooting around...

i guess if u kno u want to service it in 2 weeks u could order them early...

u could of bought 26 cbr's for that price
