the way i see some people drive (not for being fast, just how erratically they drive/ride) i sometimes finding myself wondering if we'd be better off without them on a road, be it loss of license (via policing the spastics off the bitumen) or loss of vehicle or more.

Fifty bucks to the person who gets photographic proof of Naomi Robson and the directors in charge of Today Tonight, yes yes yes i know Naomi has gone elsewhere, doesn't mean she no longer deserves it.

What a fucking crock of shit.

No fucking lane changes indeed, what a joke. I wonder if it's ging to be illegal to split through there too, it'll fuck the usefulness of the whole bloody tunnel for me.

Ah well, I never paid a dime for it anyway.

I drove thru the tunnel that Friday! and witnessed most of the shit!I think we should wait for the enquiry to finish before all this bullshit is spruiked. It may have been 1 truck driver,it may have been city link{rumours abound}the tunnel should have an emergency lane{IT DOESN`T}it definatley is not the fault of all truck drivers, you should see the car drivers from a trucks point of vue{also some riders going along the monash, rain or sunshine are scary!}Bracks is a wanker anyway{he takes no notice of riders or truckies}the tunnel is no different to the open road, other than NO EMERGENCY LANE,blame citylink for that!

Victoria has the worst truck drivers of any state, IMO. Head north and truckies are considerate and keep left as much as possible: down here, they pretend they're fucking cars and change lanes to be in the front row @ a red light. When you get trucks in all lanes through the tunnel, all doing their max speed of 40km/h uphill, that place is going to be chaos.

It's fucking ludicrous. And how the fuck is it easy to ban lan changes than the tell trucks to stay in one freakin' lane!??!?!?

So the government moans about congestion, and then decides to make it illegal to overtake big fat slow trucks................ hmmm maybe im thick but dosnt make a bloody lot of sense to me

and also as a rider i prefer to get away from slow, unpredictable or just plain dangerous drivers/ truckers. Now they've just made so you just have to sit behind or infront of these people. This is going to cause alot more accidents than it prevents. Absoutly fing ridiculous

If you HAVE to have a kneejerk reaction, why couldn't thay have had a crackdown on mobile phone use on the road? THAT'S WHAT CAUSED THE FUCKING ACCIDENT!

IMHO it is just blind bastard governments looking for a way to win votes from brain dead arseholes, revenue raising, power over non comformity etc etc ....

I hate politics and power mongers in all their forms, especially when it hampers people's freedom of transport, safety, free will etc ....

Jesus, I come from a country (The Heeelands of Scwaaatland), where there were next to no cops, winding roads in mountains on my doorstep etc, to congested concrete beurucratically run rat race cities .....

I think I need a trip away, like to Tassie !! Hug a tree I think .....

Hey tenoq, have you heard the one about walking a mile in my shoes???before you mouth off, sit in a truck for a day and watch the shit that happens to them by cars{and a very few bikes}99% of trucks are trying to keep up with the traffic flow{they do have heavy loads sometimes}and most trucks give way to other trucks and try to make life easier for them,do cars and bikes do the same? One thing you learn when driving a truck is patience, after reading your post,I bet you don`t have much when you are in a car,I hope you do when riding, please think about trucks and their road manners before any more silly posts are put on here,GB
