I bought my 2003 GPX in excellent condition and low ks for $4000. So $3500 for a 1989 model (even with newer engine) in a funny colour might be difficult.Daisy wrote:A quick look in the trading post turned up the same 'all over the shop' prices that I found when I was looking to buy mine, but aside from that, there's an 07 in WA for $6490 and an 06 in Revesby listed at $7990.![]()
Maybe I'm not the dreamy one?
KTM 640LC4 Supermoto, Booya!
Looking at the stack of receipts I've got here, it's easy to believe that the only thing that hasn't been changed is the compliance plate.
I know what you're saying, but the fact is; there is no rhyme or reason to the prices. When I was first shopping I expected that older would be cheaper, but when I was told $4000 for a 90 ish model I started to wonder if they don't just pluck a number out of the air. Mine owes me $3500. That doesn't mean I expect to get it - I was just looking for somewhere to start the haggling.
Oh, and the odo shows less than 3000.

I'm not allowed to have my next one until I sell the one I've got.
I haven't quite maxed the credit card ... but there isn't enough for another bike.
And just to throw me a curly one, the head mechanic was muttering something about if he finds a bigger/later bike I can have his.
Thirty years out of the saddle, has a 600 for less than 2 months and thinks he wants something bigger.
