I can see many of you have already decided to judge me.
please remember that there are 3 sides to every story - your side, their side and the truth.
Yes I am the father of kellz' child.
This child wasn't planned, but these things happen.
I would like to say that I very much want a family, and I still very much love Kel. A family with Kel and the baby is all I have wanted since I first met Kel.
She left of her own volition for reasons that if she decides not to air, is fine, however the baby was NOT one of those reasons. The baby is something i want.
I did not say I wanted nothing to do with the child. What I have said and what I do not want is to simply be relegated to "visitation" one weekend a month and whatnot. I would much rather have a say in things, be able to be involved decisions regarding the child, because after all, he/she is MY child as well. I went through the whole visitation thing when my parents had split up and I can say it is not a pleasant experience.
Being in Perth, and seeing as how I'm sure neither one of us is willing to move, will make things hard. Seeing the child will be hard given the costs of travel these days, but I will endeavour to travel as often as I can to see my child.
it has been Kel's decision to leave due to circumstances that could not be resolved between us, though i have been attempting to work through my faults. The whole thing dissolved in a period of about 5 weeks, which i believe is not a long enough time to work through differences or (in my case) resolve issues which I had thought I had already resolved but which flared up again when Kel moved in. My belief is that if you love someone you will attempt to work things through together and try to make things work. Sadly, this is not what has happened in this case.
As of this morning, i was told not to contact Kel or her family (except to ask how bubs is going) and I will be abiding by that wish.
So I wish Kellz all the best, but please make sure you all know the story before judging anyone.

Well then that's good IF you choose to be a part of the childs life. Yes we was very quick to judge you myself included. What happened between you and Kel is really between you and Kel I hope for the childs sake that this doesn't turn ugly as it has with my little ones in the end it hurts the children only. Regardless how you both feel about each other right now I can tell you from seeing it as a 6yo with my parents and seeing how many tears my little ones cry over the verbal abuse and crap I put up with from there Dad. A child most of the time can't say what they mean (age pending) Don't let your problems become that of the bubs......

they wont lainie.
thats why i came home, it wasnt a good environment over in perth for the child to be bought up, i wasnt happy, i wasnt eating, my health was getting worse and it was affecting the baby, so i needed to be home where i have the support of family and friends.
just sad that bub is in the equation now.
