get plastex, just grind out a bonding groove, make sure its a rough surface for it to bond correctly, and 25 mins frigging around max and its sorted. Just give it a hour to cure properly and you're set.

I was coming in from the right of this pic, at some point I realised that I was heading for that large wall in the middle. Notice that my drive is a good deal narrower than next door's. I was a bit undecided as to whether I should stop, turn or lean - and ended up doing all three.Did you know there are bits under a gpx that dig into the ground? Anyway, it did a little pirouette and slammed into the rocks under the letterbox. The head mechanic says this isn't the way to go about getting the new windscreen I wanted. I've already replaced the headlight and bracket and sorta stitched the fairing back together (again) but its too hot to be plastic welding today...
I can fix it.
I have the technology. This fairing has already been saved from the bin once...

Cost me $80 for the headlight and that funny shaped steel bracket its mounted on - would have taken me weeks to straighten that - so I only need to buy a screen and the rest is just labour. Eh, coupla days.
