I actually considered the 750F myself...dunno why I never test rode one...? Not long after I bought the SV, they had some deal on with the 750F where you got a fairly decent GPS + mounting system - probably still can...that probably would have clinched it for me...

But I could also be tempted to try the ER6 now, too...

Here is my honest opinion

CBR600F....... Was rated one of the most user friendly 600s on the market... was a SuperSport winnner at the time. Good engine response, good cornering adjustable suspension, comfy seat....

GSX600F..... Overweight, underpowered piece of SHIT... Avoid this bike as if it has the pox.

Well its true........ I rode one around for a week when my CBR600F was in the shop...... It was like jumping from a horse onto a donkey.....

Yup the GSX600F got shit reviews but the GSX750F didn't. I have a coupla friends with GSX750Fs and they love them. I rode one of them and it was a quick and comfy bike. Why not look for a used GSX? You can get the current shape ones for around $4k up. :D
2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R :) Yeah I like Kawasakis.

The GSX750F and GSX1000F both look like decent enough bikes... but people still complain about the weight of them.......

Sure you can get the GSX600F for less than 4k, thats because no one wants them..... haha

Get the zx636, my wife was the 06' and doesn't have a problem with comfort. We went from Mittagong to queenbeyan and back on the weekend (for a house auction) with no complaints from her. I've got the 9 which you can't go wrong with either.

You have to get off to fill up every 200kms anyway...

Good luck with it.

After a few months of 9 ownership, my next bike will probably be a ZX9!

They are pretty feckin versatile bikes. I rode from Melbourne to Sydney and abouts and back and am going to do it again next week! That's how comfy they are! PLus they go into sports mode as good as any modern sports bike well ridden!

After a few months of not riding my bike, my next bike will probably not be a 9.

I'm actually thinking about getting rid of the ZX6 and buying a trail bike.
