that front brake doesnt look really powerfull

my old XR600 used to get the front disc glowing at night time, and it was a bit lighter than your tank

put slicks on it, motard!!!

more ground clearance than the original Z hehe
Yes, rego till February.... The front brake works pretty well, it can lock up the front wheel in the dirt no worries  but stoppies are out of the question   (its an RD400 m/cyl, off my Z1000. Works *great* on the single disc)

This one feels like a motard !! And no chicken strips on the knobbies either  . Funny you should mention *motard*.....stay tuned for one of the specials I am knocking up next year........

way more ground clearance, its about 250mm

OK I have added a couple of new photos to this thread, mainly because Pete (R80G/S) has a new tank..........  check this baby out , its a HPN tank, made by the same guys that do all the bodywork for KTM.......I think its Acerbis ? This is the same blue R80 G/S from the earlier photos..

It holds 43 litres !! FFS its a supertanker  this tank holds enough to re-fuel all 3 bikes out in the mountains !! But as you can see, all the weight is down *low*, so the handling is not as bad as you would think (ie top-heavy) - in fact Pete reckons the extra weight gives his front tyre more grip !!!

Also, Mick (ProblemChild) finally got his XR600 regoe'd. This bike had not been started in 3 years...........2 kicks and its idling like it was started yesterday....... (some Honda's are worth owning.... )

anyway, these photos are from the top of Mt Ginnini, which has an aircraft repeater station at its summit. The road there is pretty easy compared to Coree, and we managed a fang along 'Two Sticks Road' on the way home, its really tight and drops pretty quickly in a few spots, heaps of fun on the XR.........a handful on the 750

Gos, I have to say that is engine-uity at it's highest. I've seen, and owned some crazy bastardised bikes in the past (Yam RS125 off-road), but I think the Z750MX takes the biscuit.

Ever thought about shoe-horning a V* into a Kombi
