Eckl & Kawasaki go their own way
The team as such is more responsible for moving the circus around the globe in a manner that doesnt duely upset the riders is my understanding ecle is probably used to that....he knows the important stuff like how any bags of snails and froglegs to pack and where the riders chair goes and what the grid girl is suposed to wear and how hairy the riders like them.
Factory makes the bike and if they find the right guys it shouldnt be a problem....snails might get sent to the wrong circuit though.

If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?

Yeah but I bet he was cheap......
Their racing budget now probably matches that of Honda's.......Spark Plug budget.
I can see how the racing dept is also the roadbike dept though - The 10R is still the quickest litre bike out of the box, at least around a racetrack.

The identity of the competitor in question wasn't revealed, but is thought to be the Ilmor SRT team. Eckl previously worked with Suter Racing Technology (SRT), when Eskil Suter's firm designed the ZX-RR's chassis, and may even have helped Mario Illien and Suter form their new team. Eckl has yet to respond to the allegations or announce his future plans.ZXR750 wrote:Eckle was sacked for being involved with a competitors MotoGP team. Does any one know any more info on this???

I supose it just wouldnt do having eckle running a small conoy of trucks and a couple of teams but it would probably help his paycheck.
Its old news now though....new news would be a 800cc ninja testing for a full 3 days and going faster than the ilmor which seems slower than a 250 honda.
