i heard rumour using car oil in a bike will cause the clutch to slip!! so stick with a bike oil!
with my ZXR250 i ran synthetic in that and i never had any problemwith it!! i don't really think its a huge drama, i would just goto yer local bike shop and just ask them for a good quailty oil.
I don't really think there is any point going over board on super duper fantastic oil. I mean its just a general daily rider. If it was a tricked up race bike then by all means,
but u don't need the latest and best just get something middle of the road and that will b more than enough!
oils, again.

from wat u bought sounds like u got hte right stuff, beuing an older engine a 50W was prob a better choice, as from wat i have been advised its better to run a high weight for older engines!WRT_GPX wrote:nice.. i went around a few places and the cheapest i found was the 2 litres of MOTUL for 30 bucks. 4 litres of 4T at supercheap was like... 40 bucks O.o
so i picked up some Valvoline 20W50 SF oil, 5L for 14 dollars, and a new filter.
