Noise regs which, as pointed out by gco0037 already. have now been repealed after lobbying by the NSWMCC.

Trying is not good enough. When an organisation comes with the sort of history of public infighting and inept campaigning that the MRAA does, all its efforts do is ensure that motorcyling does not get taken seriously.
Take this current thread as an example... what's the point of making a big public announcement about a bit of fisticuffs between a pair of middle-aged men? Outside of the bugger-all people who would've attended the meeting, who would've been aware the incident even took place, and even out of those, how many would've given a shit?
Time after time, I've watched the MRAA shoot itself in the foot like that...
I'm with Stereo on this one... disband the MRA and start over. It's easier for a new organisation with no reputation to build credibility and influence than it is for an existing organisation to fish its reputation out of the toilet.
