The usual in the morning.
Left for 'church' at 8am, worshipped my way down the OPH. Breaky at Pie in the Sky. Talked bullshit with old friends, and a few irregulars who showed up.
Headed back up the OPH. Went to Pabs house (thanks Pabs) to watch the GP and eat dead animals from the barbie. Talked more bullshit.
Pretty much what I'd call a successful Sunday. Would've been better if the race had've ended one lap earlier though

Woke up at nine, had brekky with my mrs, watched the idiot box and just bummed about until 1pm, went to sleep for 4 or so hours, woke at 5:30, had a shower, got to work, here i am until 7am tomorrow.
Definately not my most exciting Sunday. Admittedly i was hell surprised to hear about the bushfires and the high winds, only went out the once in the morning, abeit briefly.
b.t.w. anyone hear about that poor sucker who was riding along the highway near nowra, and a tree fell on him, not begore him and he ran into it, he was scootin along at about 70-100 and crunch went the tree, unfortunately it was fatal

Quiet day for us. Insomnia attacked Sat night until about 3am, so I woke up at 7.30am feeling crappy and totally knackered knowing I wouldn't make it through this night shift without more sleep. Got online, cancelled our attendence at the Brisbane KSRC ride, a bit of a bugger really as they are quite infrequent! Went back to bed, and woke again at 10:45 much more refreshed. Pottered around the house until about 12:30, spoke with Jeff about getting the bikes out for a ride over Tambo and onwards. Strolled into the shower and started thinking about how much had to be done in the yard, so the ride idea went out the window. Off we went to Bunnings via Subway and a picnic in the local park with a bottle or wine. Home from Bunnings, got busy laying mulch, spraying weedkiller, planting, and de-spidering the patio. Started thinking about how much I didn't want to go to work, made the marinade for dinner (Mongolian Lamb), then sipped more wine and watched Jeff make dinner. Watched a bit of Nemo, then off to work.
Been wishing we went out for that ride ever since!

Cheers,
Anne

) then visited another mate, rode along Henry Lawson Drive but too much crap/branched on the road, home, dinner chatted to the missus then bed

I felt crook sat and sunday, watched a few DVD's, played some computer games...... Im stressed out at work... and right now I am in a foul mood.... I feel like I havent gotten any work done, and I have been training people 4 weeks straight.... (The same course over and over and over and over and over).
The MotoGP break was awesome, but guess what..... No one covered for me while I was away, the first day after arriving back they simply handed over all of the calls that people made while I was gone... I feel like strangling someone... but apparently thats still illegal...

Saturday, went to the beach and then watched West Coast and Adelaide to see who would get done by the Swans next week
Sunday morning, put the new leathers on (not a great idea with Sunburnt chicken legs, damn that stings behind your knees) and went through Berowra up the old road and back home by 8.30.
Bought some dead animal, had some friends over, fired up the barbie, drank beer and bourbon, missed the bike races (damn that bourbon), farewelled the friends, had more bourbon.

It's really all about standing around drinking Dave's beer.

... got a posse of friends to do OPH then Putty and back...
Passed Cath on her new ride (very very nice, Cath! (envy)), got to Wollombi just as the wind started, thought "it'll be OK in the valley" and it was, until mate on Aprilia got caught by the radar (103 in an 80), so had a sedate ride back until...
the road back to OPH from Putty became a video game- trees all over the road, debris, huge logs, not twigs
.
On the F3 to Wahroonga, was blown from left lane into the centre - I swear I almost got the knee down - in a straight line!
Unpleasant.

Went for a blast up Eungella with big john, brendan and some others, had a few beers at the chalet, won a meat tray, back down the range to the pinnacle for lunch and just got back to john and tracy's in time to see the start of the race.
Only down fall to the day was brendan drop it in the front yard at johns. I was gone by then but apparently he was pretty pissed off, managed to few marks on it.

Went for a blast through the reefton and black spurs. Dry road, blue sky, and the sun was behind me. Got caught by a cop but turns out he only wanted a quick race... So we did 140-200kph along mansfield-whitfield and was already on the twisties towards Hotham then suddenly I woke up ...
