Well, I don't want to hope that it's not good (for your sake) -> but a ZX12 streetfighter would be cool to see 8)

I stripped it last night and it is confirmed that i dropped a valve. The inlet valve is snapped off and has been wedged back up into the inlet port. i'll post some pics tomorrow.

I'm with you there mate. i'm thinking i might fit a Garrett GT-25 turbo. in simple terms it means an extra 50hp. don't know what i'm gonna do with it cause i didn't get traction til third gear anyway.

Sorry Kishy just that probably missed it in the other post and the opportunity ws too good.
And jp I dont want to be morbid on your bike but if the motor grenaded and you do go for a bigger motor I am willing to talk turkey on the turbo etc.

Ok, here's the story. 1 and 4 pistons are melted which i think then interferred with the inlet valve. this then broke off and munched the head. So the plan is a bigger turbo (cooler charge) less compression and maybe retard the ignition a couple of degrees. Sounds expensive but it's only gonna cost about $500 more than if i just have the stock 9 motor no turbo as i need carbs, airbox, harness, etc etc.
