(only from what Ive heard/read as I have not ridden either ) I would be keen to buy one.
.
we all forget..they ALREADY make a 750
its a sweet engine..in the Z750!
(and I say that after a weekends testing)
now all they gotta do its find a decent chassis
and
instant sportsbike!
would I buy one....? probably
true...but is it pokey ENOUGH to compete with the gix 750??
every1 i kno who has ridden it (mostly from here) has said that the motor lets down the z750 ....so NO..i dont think it would suffice..and i think they would need too much to get it happening...
again, im not saying im not for the idea...im saying i doubt it will happen beacause of these reasons...
i think any improvements from Moto GP will still filter to the zx10r tho..

Nath...any bike that pulls the front wheel off the throttle
is making a bit
the Z750 engine is tuned down...cams you see
according to my local friendly dealer
so I reckon if (and thats a big if) Kawasaki wanna compete
thats the starting point
mind you...a sleeved down 10r engine would be good too

oh yea, welcome to the world of "nakeds" (see z1/FAZER/BANDIT/CB1300)
all have wickidly good motors..DETUNED... why make a kick ass donk & de-tune it is beyond me...neway...
wasmt criticising the z750..was just saying that the reports i heard rated the donk as the weakest point..doesnt mean its crap..just means the chassis, suspension, brakes etc are all brilliant, and it could do with a few more ponies...

which makes u wonder why they didnt just stick a zx7r motor in it, and design a EFI unit for it?? we can see theres no point developing a brand new donk for one bike... but they did it with the ER ??
carbs have no trouble making the same peak HP figures... you can quite easily get the ideal ammount of fuel and air in up around the redline at WOT with the right jets
they just dont do everything else as nicely tho
unfortunately they unbolted more from the Z1000 motor than they bolted on
if your going to kill a bronze, you gotta do it BIG!

yup...and hopw many of the replica duke will be made/sold u think?? not quite as many as the current sales of gix1000, R1,cbr etc..
and yep..thats Colin on a R1 sps (or what ever there calling it)..with all up-spec gear...its still a R1...not an M1...so its got sum nice bolt on bits, but its not got an M1 motor in it, nor swing arm, nor chassis...
