Hey mate, you better save up a bit more and get a ZX12
You'll get sick of a 600 too quick and end up looking for something bigger
again.
SOLD 2000 ZX12R .

Thanks for the welcomes guys, yeah across sold within ten days, got a WTB add in the for sale section, only got 6k to spend at the moment, pretty hard to do but I’m hoping not impossible to find something good, already got a good offer there that I would like to pursue.
Was thinking a nine so I don’t get bored as they only move as fast as you wind your wrist. having Ross as a friend doesn't help either... id be on the 14 or 10 with NOS as NEKA79 suggested if he had anything to do with it. it should also last a lot longer than the 6.

Thanks for the suggestions was thinking a VFR but the price is a bit restricting. but I’ve kinda set my heart on the ninjas now as they look so good, go so well. (Ross, who is sitting next to me, has a big problem with the six) and have a huge support base if you ever need any suggestions or any after market parts.

Test ride em both, but with 6 grand and straight from a 250, Id be going for the supersport. Check your consumables before you purchase
coz duff chains, tyres etc can be huge bills to front when you add HP.
(Rear shocks are normally fucked at the $$ range you are looking at and can be lotsa dollars.) I ride a ZX7R but sometimes wish I had the 6
they aint slow and are a bit easier to live with.
Welcome

Thanks, I've seen a few nice bikes for that price range with low kays but you usually have to be pretty quick...
if the sprocket/chain is going as long as it gets me through a few months i think ill be able to buy a new set and replace them.

despite the amount of cash i have i think i should be able to find something fairly decent as people are usually willing to negotiate. What I am worried about is the cost of RWC, rego if needed and stamp duty bring it above the amount I can manage.

i think it really all is in write control, i now know a few people that have jumped straight to a 12 from a 250.

Nothing wrong with a 6.... Engine capacity has nothing to do with how well you can get from point A to B :)

But if you want a 9, no probs.... Keep an eye on the for sale section, and check the one on Netrider too, deals pop up all the time...

I love bike shopping.... Will keep an eye out for you...

Thanks Stereo, appreciated,
looking at one in ACT hopefully soonish, just confirming details price and seeing if i can get it on road with the cash i have :) but other than that looks good.

The more options i have the better, seen a few great 6s with under 20k on the clock for around my price range, but they keep selling too damned fast!

hmm, so what your saying is if i go get a boob job, and put some eyelash extensions i might get it cheaper... not a bad idea, however i said he was from ACT not the sydney gay and lesbian mardi gras. ;)
