So much for possible ground clearance issues, could fit a bus under there

Re: Going racing again! another Bike Build
you have a lot of room to play with in terms of ride heights or dropping the forks through a bit
Heh what did they say to you about a bellypan/catchtank ?? No issues with your bike not having one ?

Re: Going racing again! another Bike Build
Zero Issues Gos, I have jacked up the rear end with longer shocks & had no problems with turn in so I will leave the forks as is, I was more concerned with the pipe clearance, the rearsets are real high which helps

was just about to ask that... 'cause the ones on the 500F are pretty scary too! Are you even allowed to run dual discs or something?

Re: Going racing again! another Bike Build
yeh those OEM period discs are shitful, and the calipers are pretty crook as well. You could change to an RD front end - awesome discs & calipersrobracer wrote:....Brakes on the 350F are non existant, stainless disk is shite.....

but the drum brakes on the S1 ??? FMD I better make sure the rear brake is good, that is where all the braking will be done.....

I put twin discs on mine back in the day. The brakes were better, but I can say the pads lasted like for-evah...
