An early contender for "Thread of The Year" 2011 !!

Keep up the good work people :D

With almost 100 speeding/traffic convictions to my name, I can hardly add an objective post to this most magnificent thread, other than saying that if speed really did kill, well I must have already died a thousand deaths.....

As you were.....

dont see many steak knifes that weigh 200+ kg on the roads travelling at 200+ kph, but if you cant handle a knife with your twinky little fingers without hurting yourself then maybe we should ban them

Yes ban everything bro..

Heres a thought, is it dangerous to fart while driving? I let off some rippers, and it can be a distraction !! You should have to slow to 30kph if ya wanna rip one off, or you could spear into a tarago and muder a family of 7.

Discuss...

Thankfully, my feeble mind can decipher certain aspects of terminology. So all the deaths you mention, have speed as a contributing factor. That means if I a m doing 40 in a 60 zone, and we collide and I die, then speed is a contributing factor. Now attempt to have your more feeble than my mind, explain how a police report on such an incident would be utilised to create the statistics you so proudly profur.

I believe there are some interesting stories on today tonight this week which potentially utilise similar types of statistics which may well suit your comprehension levels. I hope you enjoy them.

Now, as for the Laurence emissions while driving, you may well be right. I let one go in the MR2 the other day which melted the dashboard and poor little Oskar almost forced me into a Tarago driving family as he strained on his car restraint try to make it to the window.

So yeah, perhaps police should be using more sniffer dogs at crash investigations.

not all just 40%!! if you are doing 40 in a 60 zone then obviously it wasn't speeding it would be driver error or fatigue or D.U.I but if you were doing 70 in a 60 zone then yes speed is a contributing factor because you were travelling above the posted limit. ps i dont watch that shite but thanks for the heads up ;)

Mate, the RSPCA would have nothing of that these days. But something just made me giggle. Imagine it had been you driving the MR2. It may have been not just a Tarago filled family, but also a Hungarian Vizsla which may have needed burying.

Qwaka, you are STILL not understanding or at least showing us you understand it. You're just quoting statistics which I assume by the numbers are the ones derived from police accident reports. The way they report itch is driver was travelling at speed. That does not necessarily mean the driver was exceeding the limit or road conditions. That is what I am trying to assist you with comprehending. The stats, as with most are designed to deliver the result....."they" want, not the actual facts.

Not that I give a Fuck as I will travel at the speed I feel is appropriate.
