I've searched my heart out. At this rate I'll have to get to the library (and that could be dangerous, cause I haven't been to the library since I don't know when lol), and by the time I find the answer there, I bet Phil would've already given you the correct answer!!

C'mon 2 outta 3 - that's gotta count for someth'n, hasn't it?

Pfft, I'll be at the servo by the time you get enough flexibility into that leg of yours to throw it over the bike old man!Strika wrote:

Re: KSRC Trivia Competition..
Three pretty easy questions;
1. What is the name of the town situated between Tokyo and Yokohama?
2. What was the fastest production motorcycle launched in 1990?
3. What is a 'sticky topic'?
Good luck one and all!!

1. Kawasaki!
2. ZX-11 with a top speed of 283!
3. Sticky topic is one that stays at the top of the Topic it's created under for easy reference and so people see it!
How'd I do?

CORRECT, I guess. I assume this is what you meant: Sticky topics within the forum appear below announcements and only on the first page. They are often quite important so you should read them whenever possible. As with announcements and global announcements, sticky topic permissions are granted by the board administrator.
How'd I do?

Re: KSRC Trivia Competition..
ZZR 1100? From the wiki!

Trying to think of what else it could be if it's not that! The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-11/ZZ-R1100 was produced from 1990-2001. It was marketed as the ZX-11 Ninja in North America and the ZZ-R1100 in the rest of the world.
Now more accurately classified as a sports/tourer, this bike held the crown of "The World's Fastest Production Bike" for close to a decade with a record top speed of 283 km/h (176 mph). When the bike was introduced in 1990, the nearest production bike top speed was 16 km/h (10 mph) slower and it belonged to the ZX-10, the bike that Kawasaki was replacing with the ZX-11.

Re: KSRC Trivia Competition..
Ok. I'll have a crack at this! I'm tipping these wont be too difficult!
1. The first Kawasaki produced motorcycle was actually branded under another company. What's the name of that company?
2. Who rode a Kawasaki to fourth place in the first AMA Superbike Series at Daytona in 1976, then bettered it with a podium the following year?
3. Which bike did Wayne Gardner pair with Mich Doohan to win the Suzuka 8 hour?
