Mate I don't think it's your suspension I have a 2007 Z1000 and have never touched my suspension settings from when i bought it new it runs perfect through the corners. Maybe I've become accustomed to it. Tyres would be the problem I reckon.

I have a 2007 Z1000 that I also bought in 2009 new, yes sitting in showroom floor for 2 years. I like the colour and many others comment on the colour in the same manner. Have no need of selling just yet but time will tell if it will be easy or not.
