Re: NSW helmet laws
Not sure exactly what differs but I know for a fact US helmets are heavier than their counterparts from Europe or Japan. No idea why, but I did weigh several helmets (a friend collects) of the same size and every time the US model was heavier by at least 200g on the same size/brand/model/etc ...

Re: NSW helmet laws
They are NOT always the same - take it from a legally defined ( by Federal Government ) expert

Re: NSW helmet laws
How hard is it to put up a list of all helmets that pass our certification and then realise an arai corsair v is the exact same helmet regardless if it has a euro, USA, jap or any other cert. sticker? They'd probably defend with they could be cheap copies. The helmet laws dumb anyway

Re: Special Deal on Takamii CF helmets
Blackster I offer a fit return guarantee - if it doesn't fit return it (your cost for return postage ) and get a refund ( as long as its not used and all tags etc are still on it as well as original box and not damaged )
Hows that for service ?

Re: OS helmets

Re: OS helmets
Because we test differently, ie spike test (we apparently have a lot of spikes in oz).
Some pass some others thicken the shell, I dont really care as long as they pass. ;)
Whatever, this has been discussed before as you well know in the links above, I suggest you take it up with the standards ...

Re: OS helmets
Let me pretext this question before statrting an all out war.
