I prefer the bright orange

If the weather is half decent I'm thinking of riding down on the Sunday...my first time too so should be a blast. Only shit thing is I'm coming from Geelong and the lycra brigade have that Bay in a Day on.

@loubre is your bike in your avatar the ZR750? That's one of the most comfortable bike I have ever ridden, I got one as a loaner when I put my bike in for a service and I rekon I could ride it for days on end and never feel sore

I'm riding an 08 ZX6r and sometimes on my commute I get to about 101c and the fan kicks in not often but if I can't split and get stuck in a bit of traffic it happens and this is in the winter. I'm wondering if it's going to be a probelm during summer when it can be 25+ in the mornings?

That's hot as, I rekon the Z will be my next upgrade from the 6...bit more upright for long commutes

I just got off my restrictions and bought a 6. I commute 150kms each day on it and love it. It takes a bit of getting used to the riding position but your body will get used to it over time.

Fuel wise I get about 245 kms before the fuel light comes on.

Finally off my restrictions today so I went and picked up my ZX6r which I put a deposit on 6 weeks ago...it was well worth the wait, absoloutely love it.

Just a fender eliminator and seat cowl everything else is stock. First thing to go will be the exhaust and maybe some new levers everything else I'm quite happy with

Yeah the wait is going to kill me...5 long weeks
