Had my first pillion on the back of the 6r and was amazed how well it handled .
Only ever had someone on the back of me ol gpx before.
The extra weight of the bike makes hell of a difference.
Only prob is with the extra seat height and me only being short, she has to lean quite a bit forward to ...

Cost of fenders??

Hi guys, the fenders ?? or the bits that attach either side of the front mudgaurd on my 99 zx6r both have cracks in them. The way they were when I got the bike.
I've been trying to track down a set and have managed to locate someone on ebay selling parts. It seems he has a set and is unsure to ...

Have you measured the bolt spacing on the muffler and the flange?

Yeah and looks fine. Aside from the "insert" everything else is a perfect fit.

As for what bike it came off its an unknown. Thats why I only took it once everything else looked fine. Until I took the standard can off and spotting ...

99ZX6R exaust qunadry

Hey guys, I just picked up a second hand Vance Hines exhaust which looked like a perfect fit for the old girl. Got her home a she looked like a straight swap, right up until I took the standard can off and noticed a piece that comes out of the link pipe and slides into the standard can.

Problem is ...

Count me in for being a gpx learner. Found it to be a great bike and sold it after a year for 2 bucks more than I paid for it.

It had enough guts to move me around when I wanted to move and was nice and light to throw around. Actually I wish I still had it to jump on from time to time to do some ...

Is it just me or is there a growing trend for people to walk across in front of you wether in the car or on the bike and expect you to slow down.

I've been experiencing this a hell of a lot lately. More so in the car though.
They just take their own sweet friggin time and dawdle acros the road ...

Funnily enough since I picked up my zx6r a friend of mine has been at me to take it for a run. Stupidly enough though, he doesn't have a licence but claims to have ridden another bike down the street before.

Now I wouldn't let him ride the GPX and there's fk all chance he's throwing a leg over me ...

Good work gents cheers.
Took the bike into soccer tonight for another run and looks like I've just drained it. Obviously this will have an effect on the batteries life but meh right now it's working which is the good news.

Will keep all this in mind when I need a new one. Might also invest in a ...

New Battery from where ?

Hey came out from work today to find the battery flat on the zx6r (99). After a few attempt to jump her she started fine. So I took it for a run to try and charge it up a little. Once home (45 minutes) it kicked over without issue. SoI figure I've drained it over the course of the day.

I must ...
