The pony is going well! She's broken in and working quite nicely for a 2yo. She's 3 soon so she'll be able to do more work. I still haven't sold the Z1000 though!

No wonder I hardly ever look at this site! You guys don't listen! Ages ago I said the US ZZR600 is a modified ZX6. Said the ZZR for Australia would be unchanged other than the colour.
Don't get your hopes up on the half-faired Z750, I understand that's not coming to Australia.

Mick, I have a Yamaha and it has Kawasaki linkages in it because they are better made than the Yam ones! They are generally just flat pieces of metal in the shape of a dog bone with a hole at either end. No bushes, no bearings, and certainly for most Jap bikes post early 90s with a universal hole ...

I did a reply but I don't think it went on!
The 2005 ZZR600 will only be the ZX6 in the USA. The Aussie one will be the same as this years in a different colour.

Yappa my friend. Gernis can damage electrics, bearings, brakes, chains, typical cheap Japanese cheap finishes on every nut and bolt. Don't do it - unless it is a dirt bike. You don't wan't to lose 50% on the resale value of the bike. Gernis = journeys to the bank to beg for more money! :shock:

EEEK! Don't go near bikes with a Gerni!!
I think I should be a bike detailer. Put gaffer tape over exhaust. Wash bike with good quality car wash, rinse. Dry with chamois. Remove gaffer tape from exhaust. Run bike for a few minutes to help to dry.
