Re: Putty Rd - GoPro footage/video
any chance of re-doing the vid again, and lets see it with the new changes, viewing them this way, will also show you what works and what doesnt, i'm not sure about text appearing, it might take your eye off what is really happening on the road, the front camera really gets you to visualise the road ...

Re: Putty Rd - GoPro footage/video
overall good vid mat....a few suggestions
rear camera just mounted slightly more up, as you suggested it would.
front camera is pretty spot on, can just see the front tyre working away and a good overall picture of the oncoming road.
The ratio to front to rear camera is ok, but maybe edit in some ...

Quick dumb question....

Re: help with carby's and tuning
Would Darcy also do valve clearances?, or is he just a carby guru.
I've been told, that not only the carby can be the issue, if valve clearances arent correct, this can also lead to hard starting.
I have a bike doctor coming to look at it hopefully early next week, if he doesnt work out, i will ...

Re: Wet Riding
Rain is definitely not my forte'.
if its raining, or it will rain with a 99% possibility, i take the car, or stay home.
I believe, some have the purpose to ride in the rain...i dont, not that i cant ride in the rain...i just choose not to ride in the rain.
Generally you get wet, your clothes get wet ...

help with carby's and tuning
Hi all, can anyone tell me of decent bike mechanics in gold coast/Brisbane area that are excellent with carby's and tuning.
I have a '09 zx250F, and it needs a little TLC with the carby, wont start very easily, and also need a few small things looking at. Am really after someone that specialises in ...

Re: bike intercoms
quick update...
I picked up my new Sena 20S dual unit the other day, have now fitted to a shark helmet and a Bell star carbon helmet, which was very easy to fit.
Initial thoughts...fantastic, very clear in the helmet, and good sound, some of the better sounding helmet speakers so far.

Re: Help with spray painting
thanks Smitty...
I did imagine (or maybe read it somewhere) to lay the paint on quick thick/wet to get that hammer tone effect, would it be best to spray a light coat on first, to give it some tackiness, and plus it only has grey primer on at the moment, then go over quite thick, and hopefully give ...

Re: bike intercoms
I found when i was riding with the missus, it kind of made the journey a little better, we would chat about whats happening of late, and keep up to date with everything going on, just made it that much easier to found a place to park or somewhere to have lunch, or to even look at things i may have ...
