hi guys n gals, i just bought a GPX 250 and when it gets to 10000 revs it misfires back to 7000 can anyone tell me why, thanks

Hi guys and gals, I just bought a gpx 250. When I hold it flat out it gets to around 10,000 rpm in first then breaks down badly back to around 7000 revs. second gear seems to rev a little bit higher but then breaks down to around 7000. if I throttle off and start again its the same. my mate rode it ...

cheerz yer the airfilter is still in place and and carbs have been done any idear wer i can get a new stand switch if thats the problem cant get shit all in sa for them iv been trying to find top fairing for it and no wear in sa can help me :x
