I did putty on sunday with the aprilia club, and from 9am at meeting at mcgraths hill, doing putty, wollombi, old road, not one cop car throughout the whole day. probably luck :)

Its very time consuming, the bike was in bits for 2 weeks as i ordered the shims i needed, and broke a cam cover bolt, oops!
Putting it back together was the pain, mounting the radiator and the hoses, ect.

If i spent every day after work doing it though, i could of done it in a few days, I was ...

Service complete.

Well i just finished up doing the major 36,000km service on my ZX6. Including valve adjustment, carb synch, change the plugs, clean air filter, change oil and filter.

Bike runs great, valves sound happy and a rather big flat spot up top is gone, but still alittle choppy down low that would be ...

I found this guide to routine maintenance on the kawiforums, and found it quite useful.
Has photos step by step guides from basic stuff like changing the oil to valve adjustments.

My kms are embarrassingly high, but she purrs like a kitten.
99 Model. Had it since new. Which was actually Jan 2000 when I bought it, and as to date, I have done 141'233kms Goes to show what a regular oil change can do to the life of a bike. Nothing major has been done ...

no idea what dyno caps are.. the guy told me thats what they were.. im thinking jets.

dyno tuning

Hey guys,

Just rang up parramatta kwaka to get a price range on a dyno tune, does the $450 range sound about right?
Dyno caps, K&N air filter, dyno time and then tuning.

Bike is an 01' ZX-6R with yoshi pipe.
