Re: ZZR 250 Tyres

stock tyres are total rubbish and dangerous. bt45 is good, not super sticky, but if you commute as well then they are a good compromise.

Re: Ruined my rear indicators... :s

you could try a bike wrecker that imports bikes. if they have any of the jap ones the indicators will be unpainted.

otherwise perhaps u can order from japan. maybe jesse streeter can help. http://jessestreeter.com/

Re: 2006 zzr 250 battery

haha... not quite, there were 2 different battery sizes used. i don't know if it varies by country or other factors, but i do know that some zzr 250s of certains years have a smaller battery.

get the number off the old battery. even if you get the "wrong" one it goes in the same place and probably ...

Re: ZZR 250 Tyres

bt45 gets my vote too. although they aren't the stickiest tyres in the world, they are a HUGE improvement from the stock tyres.

they're a great tyre for commuting too as the centre has a hard compound.

does anybody have the gpz250 base manual?

i've been looking for it for years but nobody ever ends up sending to me even though i've given the zzr250 supplement and gpz250 supplement to hundreds of people over the years :S

Re: ZZR250/GPX250 manuals

Yeah the centrestand is bad when u lean a lot of you're going through tight uphill corners. It also sent me off the track once. But it is awesome for servicing.

Here's the ZZR250 service manual supplement for the GPZ250 service manual. I've been hosting it for years:

Re: ZZR250 Fairing (and other body parts) Help

the gap between the frame and the tank is about 3-4 mm on mine. there is a short rubber spacer about 2cm long rounghly under the small k on the right side and the same distance on the left. that's how it bolts in

aftermarket fairings can be a bit of a pain. looks like the bits your indicators are ...

Re: zzr 250 what motor can i use?

yep all zzr250 and gpx250 motors are basically the same. very slight differences over the years but nothing significant. i'm interested though to see if anyone has actually put a recent ninja 250r into a zzr.

as for putting another motor in, well i don't think anything bigger fits without ...
