Re: Thank you HWP
Nick, thanks for being the fall guy.... I was on a ZZR1100 without the lower fairings, and with a picnic/cooler hamper bag as a seat bag. Not motorcycle pretty but very effective. I'm heading home to ACT from Newcastle via the Bylong Valley, so hope I'll have some luck but it does look like I'll get ...

Re: Thank you HWP
Naked, I too went 600km's yesterday, and only saw 2 HWP's.... one had a car pulled over, and the other was you. I was heading the same direction and I saw the weird guy (looked like a hippie to me, no offence intended) who looked very aggressive. Glad you had a good experience this time, and anytime ...

Re: ZZR1100 - Headlight Globe
thanks.... I ended up removing the screen, and panel around the instrument dials. This meant that I could see a lot better from above. And removing the bulb was easy, putting the new one back in was easy too.
The hard bit was putting the clip back in. This took me a long, long time. So little room ...

ZZR1100 - Headlight Globe
Hi Guys, how do you change the headlight globe?
I've removed the bottom cover plate type thingy, and can reach the back of the globe (it's a tight fit)... so does it turn to release or pull out OR do I need to remove the whole front section?
thanks, Alan

Re: ZZR1100 Fairings - ooops
Daisy, I saw where you were repairing a ZZR1100. Where did you get the new fairings? Can they be bought as separate items too? I'll also look at wreckers, but I'm guessing that front guards would be easily damaged so therefore rare? Alan

ZZR1100 Fairings - ooops
Hi Guys, I have an 1100, and the front guard - which is a two piece kit - broke around the screw in points on the front forks - so yeah today it broke and wouldn't you know but also broke the left hand lower fairing. Great day for a ride, today but what the hey, I broke it and now I should fix it ...

NEW ACT/NSW with ZZR1100
Hi Guys, been lurking around looking at your site for quite a while now. Recently got my 2nd kawa, a ZZR1100 after my first bike a ZR550B (Zephyr) last year. Being an older guy, I went from my NSW L's to an unrestricted licence, and I'm loving the 1100... does it get any better?
