Re: ZXR250 Fuel Consumption
I'm getting about 140km before reserve, but mine's running rich and in need of a general tune up. I would love to be getting 250km a tank.

Re: newer model fairing for ZXR250???
Tyga has just made a fairing, don't think it's in production yet though.

Although honestly, i'm not sure it looks any better. Would almost be worth getting the headlight section ... except that it loses the intake pipes

ZXR 250 footpeg brackets
After an unfortunate incident after some light rain, I need a new LHS mounting bracket for my footpeg/gearshifter. I was wondering if anyone knows if the brackets/rearsets for any other models are compatible? I'm expecting the 400 to be, but it would be easier if I knew I could get other models too ...

Re: bout to buy my first bike
I have heard of very few people that have purchased a grey import $ cylinder 250 that have not spend a farking fortune in repairs and maintenance. I'd stay away from them but hey, we can only offer advice ;)

Re: Shoei TZ-R OR XR-1000 - Anyone got one?
Whilst this topic is back ... loved the fit and feel of the shoei, but couldn't get a TZ-R (range was pretty limited here in canberra :\). as I couldn't aford the XR I ended up going with the shark RSI which also fit pretty well/
Probably get a Shoei next time

Re: ZX2R - ZXR250
Story as I've been told it; Malaysian company that had a bunch of zxr250 parts sitting in a warehouse went bust, Peter Stevens got the parts and built some complete bikes about five years ago.

Re: ZX2R - ZXR250
All except for about 10 from 2003 are grey, haven't had a problem so far (only taken it to one place though
)
ZX2R is a colloquial name given due to the other zx#r bikes (ie 6, 10); zxr250 is the official name.

Noob from Canberra
Hey guys,
My name's Conan and I'm from Canberra. Bought a '93 ZXR250 that's just been fixed up and hopefully can start riding soon :)
Got sent this way from Canberra riders (to shamelessly plug the engines for the bike I have), but thought I'd introduce myself first - looks like I should be able to ...
