yeah not the best idea people its pretty bloody loud! i wouldnt recommend it! Unless of course you want a really loud bike.....

I have a stock zx6 2000 model stock pipe. Just been out in the shed tinkering. Pulled the rear baffle type thing off it and thinking of knocking 100 or 150mm off over all length while im going. Will this cause any drama's on stock jetting??

Pulling baffle out of 00 zx6r

Just wondering if it is worth time doing it? Also is it possible to get out without wrecking things in case it sounds terrible or way too loud and i want it back in?

00 ZX6 Low cost mods

Hi just thought i would ask the question. Wondering what sort of low cost performance mods are possible for DIY. My only mod so far is a K&N Filter. Everything else is as stock as it came performance wise. Is there any exhaust restrictors in the muffler or anything like that? The baffle type thing ...

Yeah mate i did find that the fan wasn't on! That is what was scaring me lol didn't know if the fan was buggered or what was going on :) all good now tho!

Safe operating Temp 00 zx6r

Just wondering what the normal temp range is for a 2000 zx6r just doing normal commuting in spring vic.
On the highway it sits around the 70c mark but when slowly riding in traffic or what not i just saw it hit 99c is this safe??

Best sprocket setup for city/windey riding

Hi i'm new to the forum. I own a 2000 zx6r just wondering what you guys think is the best sprocket setup for mainly city riding with the odd bit of Mt Macedon and that sort of riding.
