Thanks for the other perspective Zedex 6. We're you crash knobs mounted directly to your frame, engine bracket, or to a bracket extending from either of these points?

Re: Advice on frame sliders ...

Hhhmmm ... and to think of all the bikes I would be around if I had have accepted a job offer rather than pursue more study

I wonder if the design calculations I made for a suspension dyno machine were actually put into production? :o

Re: Advice on frame sliders ...

Thanks Nelso, I'll be sure to keep the Woodcraft sliders in mind :). How ironic, the link you sent me had an endorsement from GMD Computrack. 17yrs ago when I was doing my engineering degree I undertook some work experience for Greg McDonald (owner) out at Regents Park. Greg let me practice using ...

Re: Advice on frame sliders ...

Yeah, I hear you guys and certainly agree that they are advantageous in low sides. I suppose nothing can really save $$$ in a high side/speed crash except for a bottomless wallet.

Do many of our KSRC members who race use them?

Advice on frame sliders ...

Hi guys,

I've been contemplating whether or not I should invest in some frame sliders for my '04 zx10r trackie. I've heard mixed reports about them, but was just wondering what you guys think?

Cheers,
Dan

Sykes and Baz both went down at KRT Island testing

Not the news I was hoping for, yet am very thankful that injuries weren't any worse.

Sykes fell and injured his left hand on day one after less than ten laps of the PI circuit, which has recently been resurfaced. He underwent a medical examination right away and will be ready to take to the track ...

Re: World Superbike - Monza

Almost had a tear in my eye when I saw Sykes cross the line so far in front last night ...

The frustrating thing, however, is that if the rain had of come down after two-thirds race distance and if positions stayed as they were, Sykes would be leading the championship by 1 point over Biaggi ...

Re: Advice on Pirelli Diablo Superbike tyre presures for my

Hey Pittster ... as I started the thread isn't it my job to say "thanks for all the input"?

So I did EC yesterday and today, running approx 30-31psi in the front and 28psi in the rear. Both felt fine except that the rear had a definite chamfer (it's a little bit old...) on the left which ...

Advice on Pirelli Diablo Superbike tyre presures for my Crim

Hi Guys,

Due to pregnancy for the wife I have literally been away from the track for 9 months now, but alas, I will be heading to EC on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Last time I was out I met a guy from KSRC :kuda: :kuda: who advised me on tyre pressures for my crim. They were awesome :D as I ...
