Theres heaps of great roads here in Tassie, some of which I still havent managed to see yet. However, I can highly recomend the Lake Leake road (Campbell Town to Swansea), Swansea to Hobart (East Coast), Launceston to Scottsdale (The Sidling) and down through Derby, St Helens etc, also Elephants ...

i managed a best of 10.79 on my '01 9R down here in Tassie, with 60 foot times around 1.8sec. Drag racing's all about ya reaction times and that first 60 feet!!! most of my reaction times over the years have been aroud 0.5 - 0.7sec which is pretty good. different people like to launch the bike in ...

I always thought I had an AGV head, then I brought my Arai Condor Doohan replica! Mmmm, very comfy. Fairly quiet to wear, great padding, but they get stone chips too easily! Paint must be too thin?? Im very thankful for that helmet! Only slight concussion after landing on my head from the lowspeed ...

re: 2002 ZX9 - 12000 kms out of a clutch?
FAAAAAAAAARK!!!!
12000K's for a clutch is pathetic! My '01 9R has 37000K's on it (13000 by me) and in that time it has only ever needed the usual adjustments at the cable. I have done a fair amount of Drag Racing on it and i've lost count of the burnouts and wheelstands but still no problems in the ...

re: What's your bike??? (details and small pic )
I learnt to ride on a '98 Honda XR250, then brought a '97 YZF600 Thundercat, stayed on 4 wheels for a while but got the urge again and brought a '01 Honda XR650 which was fun but still the wrong brand!! Have come to my senses now and have an '01 ZX9R. Does anyone else here have a factory red/black ...

Just wondering if any of you guys do any (Off-Street) Drag Racing? I know you's are probably thinking im a softcock for only racing in a straight line but its still good for winning all those "My bikes quicker than ur bike" debates between mates!!!!!!
