thats a nice bike jim probably a bit over the top for me i would settle for a basic street fighter, modified headlight, modified subframe to suit another bikes tail fairing and raised motocross handle bars and i'd be a happy chap

last week i sent an email to the RTA about modifying a bike into a streetfighter ie: taking off the headlight and fairings, the RTA forwarded my email onto technical department on friday and they got back to me today with this responce

heres the pic u can see where the compliance plate was riveted to the frame up just behind the triple clamps

nah i hadnt paid for it the seller got quiet pissed but i just said im not buying it without a compliance plate thats like removing the VIN number

thanks tim, the bike isnt written off but the ebay seller just said over the phone someone has taking the compliance plate off and all i needed to do was goto the RTA and get a new one obviously doesnt know what hes talking about
