Re: zx6r turn in problems

It's a new tyre with about 1500kms on it, tyre pressure is at 36 psi. It turns smoothly, but seems to understeer. No idea about head stem, wheel bearings or the front forks. Nothing is leaking, and everything seems to be in good order. Thanks for your suggestions though, I'll have to get those ...

zx6r turn in problems

Hi Guys,

I have a 2001 zx6r and whilst riding it through the Adelaide hills, I don't feel confident with the turn in on the front wheel. Any suggestions on how to sharpen it up a bit? It just doesn't turn in as tight as it should. Bear in mind I have never adjusted suspension before. Any help would ...

Re: zx2r engine transplant

You're looking at just under a grand for a 2nd hand engine from a wreckers. I have an 89 model that I was trying to get fixed to sell to a friend. This model had 80,000k's on it, and is on it's second engine. Hard to get anyone to work on them here in Aus. I am just going to have to drop the price ...

Re: ZX6 Best models for track bike

Well, you could always buy my 95 zx6r for $3000. It's a repairable write off that I have had the frame straightened and all ready for the tier 3 and roadworthy. I patched up the fairing with fibre glass, so it is a little rough, but it's only got 30,000 k's on it. I'm near Adelaide if you're ...

Where is the sender unit? And I'm afraid that that website won't open for me. At least my zx6r is going well, and putting a huge arse smile on my face lol

zxr 250a blinkers

Hi guys,

I have just got a nice 01 zx6r, and am selling my 89 zxr250 to a young fella. However, the blinkers have just stopped working, and I don't want to give him something that's not in good working order, being a leaner and all. Is there another fuse box apart from the one right next to the ...

Re: What's your bike??? (details and small pic )

Had this for 5 days now. 2001 zx6r with a yoshimura exhaust. I am so in love. Also have a green 1989 zxr 250a in the shed (soon to go to a new home) and a black 1995 zx6r that I bought as a repairable write off (Tier 3 inspection and roadworthy to go). I guess you can say that my blood flows green ...

Re: Frame straightening in SA

Good point - good thing it hasn't been reported as a write off. I'll be keeping my mouth zipped. But thanks Aardvark, cause I got a hold of someone who can do it - just gotta organise it. Many thanks.

Frame straightening in SA

Hey guys, I need to get my zx6r frame straightened up, and was wondering if anyone knew of a place in South Australia that could do so?

Cheers

Re: 1995 ZX6R questions

yeah, it had an off at about 40 km's an hour on the grass. It has hardly any crash damage apart from the radiator and oil cooler.
